Once you arrive in Phnom Penh airport, your first visit will be to the National Museum where you'll learn about the rich history of this nation. Deepen your history knowledge with a visit to the Royal Palace, Silver Pagoda and the peaceful Wat Phnom; after which the city was named. Legend has it that a 14th century woman named Penh placed sacred Buddhist objects on the small hill after discovering it in the river.
Enjoy a scenic bird’s eye as you fly to Siem Reap, be enchanted with a visit to Rolous Group comprising of Lo Lei, Preah Ko and Ba Kong temples. Head over to Angkor for a tour of unique brick sculptures and temples of Prasat Kravan, Srah Srang and Banteay Kdei. Ta Prohm and Preah Khan are two of the most beautiful temples in the area.
The ancient capital of Angkor Thom was built during the 12th century and consists of the stunning South Gate with huge statues, the Bayon Temple known for its 54 decorated towers of 200 smiling faces of Avalokitesvara and many others. Explore the ruins of Angkor Wat and its distinct 5 towers which are featured on the Cambodian flag.
Embark on a boat ride along the Tonle Sap Lake at Kampong Phluk Village and you’ll discover a floating village built on stilts. Observe the local community as it thrives over the glistening waters of the river, the fishermen’s floating village offers you a stunning glimpse into the local way of life. After your journey ends, you’ll be transferred to the airport for your departure.
