Welcome to Samui. Koh Samui is Thailand’s second largest island, which lies in the Gulf of Thailand off the east coast of the Kra Isthmus. The island has a very distinctive, relaxed atmosphere that sets it aparts from the other islands in the region.
On your second day in Koh Samui, you’ll visit the stunning 15m statue of Lord Buddha in the Big Buddha temple, the natural rock formation nicknamed Grandma and Grandpa and the Guan Yu Koh Samui shrine dedicated to a Chinese warrior. You will also visit Wat Khunaram and Na Muang Waterfall before ending day with some shopping at Nathon town.
Angthong National Park is spread over a group of islands, located an hour away from Koh Samui by speedboat. This national park was the second of its kind to be created in Thailand and comprises of 40 islands of various terrains, limestone masses, evergreen forests, beach, limestone and mangroves. From clear blue lagoons to mysterious caves and strange rock formations, there is much to see here.
Spend your last day on the island with a scrumptious breakfast, before your transfer to the airport. We hope you have a wonderful time in Koh Samui.
